Patch: Plan To Revive Landmarked UWS Metro Theater Gets Second Wind

Plans to revive the historic Metro Theater on the Upper West Side have been officially announced. The NEW Friends of Metro Theater (NFoMT) has endorsed a new proposal to restore the long-closed art deco landmark at 2626 Broadway, which has been vacant for nearly 20 years. NFoMT has been actively seeking potential buyers and working with the Bialek family, the theater's owners, to facilitate the revival. Read the Patch article.
